If you are using Dataone, broadband internet connection from the BSNL, then you would already know that BSNL offers free unlimited bandwidth between 2 AM and 8 AM IST. During these hours you can download without any limit and the bandwidth will not be counted.
You can use your internet connection during other times also, but you will be charged if you exceed your maximum download / upload limit. BSNL currently does not provide any option to track bandwidth usage for free hours and paid usage hours separately.
Shaplus Dataone Bandwidth helps you to find the free bandwidth usage and paid / unused bandwidth usage for your broadband connection so that you can use internet accordingly.
Delete your temporary internet cache files using a tool like Web Tracks Eraser.
Visit BSNL's Dataone login page (Internet Explorer only) and login to the site using your Dataone username and password.
Click on the "Service Records" and select the month you want to calculate the bandwidth usage and click "OK".
Open the unzipped file DataOne-Bandwidth 2.4.exe.
Select the tab "Non Password Version". Click on the button "Check bandwidth usage".
You will see the total bandwidth in Megabytes and Gigabytes. There is also an option called "Exclude free time usage (2 AM to 8 AM) which will show you only the bandwidth used in the paid slot.
This way you could use your broadband internet hours accordingly.
